This bow front hall table is elegant and functional, although I think that speaks for itself! Place it against a wall in the entry hall, to put keys, gloves and mail on when you walk in. Or it will go well behind a sofa, placed in an open space plan. Can even be used as a sideboard in the dining space.
The pictured one is in cherry. The wood for the drawer front and the front apron is of a continuous piece, without hardware, giving the whole design (my own) a very clean and uncluttered look. The curve is gentle and makes for visual interest. I wrote about this table in Fine Woodworking #204.
The size is 51" long x 18" deep x 32" high. These dimensions can be easily changed to meet your needs. The finish is oil/varnish. Price is $2,400 ($2,100 without the drawer).
